Had the vegetarian tomato and basil pasta, not disappointed at all. Very good and good quantity for the price. Always wanted to visit the place will be back soon. Although the waitress never came back to check back but its okay was too busy chatting with my friend. No complaints at all. They have got the right vibe right interior although its red color but still its so decent that it doesn’t overpower you.

This is a great restaurant, with very good food and a vibrant atmosphere. I just managed to get a table, as they were very busy, but I was pleased I did. A bit pricey, but it is in one of the prime tourist destinations in Scotland. However, it wasn't just a tourist trap, the food was very tasty and well presented. My Gamberoni (prawn) starter was spot on. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommended.

My golf group of 4 secured a 7:30 reservation 5/15/25. We enjoyed a great Manhattan in the bar before dinner. Bartender and waiters were all friendly and efficient. Food and wine were excellent. No doubt the best meal we had in St Andrews

We decided at the last minute to go to dinner at this restaurant, but I didn’t make a reservation, thinking that by going early, we wouldn’t need one. Don’t make this mistake! We got lucky because of a cancellation, but the couple behind us were not so lucky….and you really don’t want to miss out on this meal!

We were seated and ordered 2 Aperol Spritzs which were quick to arrive. We then placed our order: bruschetta Italiano (buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and basil), spaghetti with Gorgonzola sauce (with bacon) for me and lasagne for the husband. He also requested an order of garlic bread with his pasta.

Before our meal came, we were offered a plate of soft bread with what might have been the best pesto I’d ever had! Had we known we’d get that bread, we wouldn’t have ordered two other types of bread. But then the bruschetta came and it was really very good. Finally, the pasta and oh my…the carbs were so worth it! My sauce was so creamy and subtle and the pasta was perfectly al dente. My husband was over the moon about his lasagne (I tasted the sauce on it and it was outstanding!).

Although we wanted to try dessert, by that time we’d had a second round of drinks and all that food (which we could get near finishing!) and sadly, we didn’t have room for dessert.

We did enjoy a nice walk back to the Old Course hotel where we were staying to walk off some of the calories.

I would definitely recommend that if you’re staying in St. Andrews, you go enjoy this fabulous restaurant…great food, service and value!

Overall, it was a good experience with good food and really great staff. It was definitely on the pricey side, but all party members enjoyed the meal. Wasn't a fan of the dark atmosphere inside and the menu layout.
